Please note: This program is located on the Health Sciences campus in the College of Physicians and Surgeons. The degree for this program is conferred by GSAS, but program specifics, such as admissions, degree requirements, financial aid, etc., are administered by the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
The interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Neurobiology and Behavior includes ninety faculty members from six basic science and two clinical departments at the Health Sciences campus and from the Departments of Biological Sciences, Psychology and Statistics at the Morningside campus. The faculty has a common interest in studying the development and function of the nervous system, at levels ranging from cell and molecular to systems, behavioral and cognitive.
