International Students - Once Admitted

International students who require an F or J student visa, and who have not yet applied for the I-20 or DS-2019 necessary to obtain the visa should complete the Application for Visa Certificate (AVC).

International Student and Scholars Office (ISSO)

The International Student and Scholars Office (ISSO) coordinates services for the more than 10,000 international students, scholars, interns, and family members who come to Columbia annually. The ISSO staff is available for personal advising and is a source for essential information regarding immigration and Department of State regulations that affect international students studying in the U.S.
