About the Center

From fall 2013 to spring 2014, renovations took place on the third floor of Philosophy Hall to convert the space into a new Graduate Student Center.

Enhancements to the space, which features a lounge and conference room, include:

  • new café services;
  • a state-of-the-art acoustic system designed to reduce background noise;
  • an audio-visual system that can be used for presentations, conferences, and film screenings;
  • new chairs and tables that can be reconfigured for different setups;
  • and upgrades to the Center’s electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
