Employers and Recruiting

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is home to over 3,500 students pursuing MA and PhD degrees in 77 different programs in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and mathematics. During their time at Columbia, our students build deep technical knowledge and subject-matter expertise, and hone skills in research and analysis; leadership and collaboration; teaching and mentoring; written and verbal communication; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and project management. GSAS students have a range of career interests including: consulting, data science, tech, sustainability, policy research, think tanks, government, finance, non-profit, arts and culture, and more. We invite you to view GSAS-at-a-Glance to learn more.

GSAS Compass accepts and promotes internships, full-time, and part-time opportunities from a wide range of employers and recruiters. We welcome you to connect with our students by posting a job/internship, participating in a career fair or hosting a recruitment event.
