Writing a Teaching Statement (Part 1)

Are you drafting a teaching statement for the academic job market? In this two-part series, participants will have a hands-on opportunity to gather ideas and draft effective components of their teaching statement. In part one, participants learn the elements of a strong teaching statement and engage in activities to kick-start the writing process. In part two on September 13, participants share full drafts with peers for feedback and suggestions. Preference will be given to participants who register for both sessions. Facilitated by Ian Althouse, Center for Teaching and Learning.

Registration for this event will open September 1.
