GSAS welcomes Columbia faculty to take part in the Convocation ceremonies on Sunday, May 17, 2020, on the Morningside campus (South Lawn). Faculty walk in the academic procession and are seated on stage during the ceremonies.
If you plan to attend Convocation, please RSVP by %20amadigan [at] columbia.edu (emailing Ann Madigan) as soon as possible so that we may send you important event details and ensure your access to Butler Library, which will serve as the assembly site for the academic procession (see below) and which will be closed to non-participants on May 17.
Faculty marching in the procession are asked to wear academic regalia. If you do not already own regalia, please order it as soon as possible from the Columbia University Bookstore in Lerner Hall or call the Bookstore's Regalia Hotline at (212) 854-6145. Alternatively, GSAS has a limited number of Columbia caps and gowns available; you may submit your request to borrow regalia to alk1 [at] columbia.edu.
